Women entrepreneurs are central to Africa's green transformation. The IYBA-WE4A programme is making sure they get the support, and the visibility, they need.
Investing in Young Businesses in Africa: Women Entrepreneurship for Africa (IYBA-WE4A) is a Team Europe initiative to increase the economic empowerment and financial inclusion of women entrepreneurs. It is co-funded by the European Union, the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States and Germany's BMZ, and implemented by GIZ.
The programme targets inclusive green growth in eight countries: Cameroon, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Senegal, Tanzania, Togo and Uganda.

The challenge
Women entrepreneurs in green sectors face barriers such as limited access to finance and business services. Removing them creates jobs and builds resilient enterprises. Reaching the right people requires clear, consistent communication across many countries and languages.
Our role
Admedia provides strategic communication and PR advisory to strengthen the programme's visibility and impact. After developing a comprehensive communication strategy, our work focuses on English and Portuguese-speaking countries: Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique and Uganda.
The approach
We are developing unified messages that engage diverse stakeholders, from entrepreneurs and financial institutions to governments and development partners.
