From 27 to 29 July 2026, the Open Society Foundations convened a high-level conference in Accra under the theme "Towards an African Agenda on Governance, Critical Minerals and Peace."
Policymakers, regional institutions, civil society, researchers, peacebuilders, community representatives and the private sector came together from across Africa.
The Challenge
The conference combined high-level panels, moderated dialogues and participatory Strategy Labs, with delegates arriving from many countries and working in several languages.
It needed one partner to manage the programme, people, protocol and production, so OSF could focus on the substance.
The Approach
Admedia provided integrated support across programme development, coordination, delegate and speaker management, travel and accommodation, registration, creative design, branding, protocol, hospitality, technical production and multilingual interpretation.
We developed the run of show, delegate materials, facilitator briefs and reporting frameworks, and coordinated the opening ceremony, cultural experience, Strategy Labs and on-site operations.

The Outcome
Delegates moved from dialogue towards a shared agenda. They called for African-controlled mineral data, transparent governance, community participation and stronger continental bargaining.
The conference ran as an inclusive, professionally managed platform for one of the continent's most important policy conversations.
