IYBA-WE4A Programme Geographic Focus and Impact
IYBA-WE4A Program targets sustainable, inclusive green growth in eight (8) Sub-Saharan Africa countries including; Cameroon, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Senegal, Tanzania, Togo and Uganda. By focusing on women’s economic empowerment and financial inclusion in green sectors, it addresses barriers such as limited access to finance and business services, ultimately creating jobs and fostering resilient enterprises.
Admedia’s Strategic Communications Role
The assignment we are undertaking involves providing strategic communication and public relations advisory services to enhance the program’s visibility and impact. Admedia´s assignment after developing a comprehensive IYBA-WE4A Communications Strategy will focus on English and Portuguese-speaking countries including Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, and Uganda. This requires developing unified messaging to engage diverse stakeholders like women entrepreneurs, donors, and ecosystem partners. Through close coordination with GIZ’s project management unit and country teams, our role ensures consistent, culturally relevant communication that highlights themes of gender equality, financial inclusion, and green transformation.
The scope of our assignment encompasses comprehensive support for the program’s communication needs across headquarters in Germany and the five implementing countries over a 19-month period. This includes crafting a communication strategy, producing Multimedia Production (Video, Podcast, Photography), Content Development and Editorial Work, Graphic Design, and Communication Materials in Portuguese Language & Translation Support. Notably, all content will align with donor guidelines from the EU, BMZ, and OACPS. By emphasizing inclusivity and crisis response, our efforts will bridge regional differences while maintaining coherence with a parallel contract for French-speaking countries: Togo, Senegal, and Cameroon.
