On 14th October 2025, Mercy Corps AgriFin, in partnership with Briter, hosted the 9th Annual Learning Event (ALE) at Radisson Blu Hotel, Nairobi, under the theme “Data-Driven Innovations and Investments: Harnessing Intelligence to Build Sustainable, Investable Agri-Food Systems.” The event brought together more than 300 investors, innovators, policymakers, and development partners from Africa and Asia to explore how data and technology can strengthen agri-food systems across the continent.
As the communications and event management partner, Admedia Communications provided end-to-end support – from concept development and media engagement to on-site coordination and post-event documentation. The team led event conceptualization, design, and production, ensuring every detail – from stage layout and exhibition setup to registration, branding, and décor – reflected ALE’s forward-looking theme.
Admedia also developed and executed a full media engagement strategy, including the creation of key narratives, a media pitch bank, press materials, and briefing notes for both AgriFin spokespersons and journalists. These efforts resulted in extensive local and regional media coverage, positioning Mercy Corps AgriFin as a thought leader in data-driven agricultural innovation.
Ahead of the event, Admedia produced a pre-event promotional video, complete with a professional voice-over, interviews with AgriFin spokespersons, and motion-graphic highlights drawn from the State of AgTech Investment in Africa Report (H1 2025). The video, distributed across Mercy Corps’ digital channels, generated significant traction and anticipation among key audiences.
On event day, Admedia managed all aspects of logistics, media coordination, and content capture, delivering high-quality photography, videography, and highlight clips that now form part of Mercy Corps’ global communication assets.
The success of ALE 2025 showcased Admedia’s commitment to delivering strategic, creative, and operational excellence, ensuring that every moment, message, and milestone was captured and amplified with precision.
