Admedia Communications supported the successful launch of the Basketball Experience Disability Inclusion component at Isinya School for the Deaf in Kajiado County on Thursday, 5 March 2026. This programme component has been launched by Agence Française de Développement (AFD), in collaboration with NBA Africa as part of their larger Basketball Experience programme which has been running since 2024 with support from Admedia Communications. The programme aims to expand access to inclusive sports and life skills training for children of all abilities across Kenya. For this milestone event Admedia provided communications and event support.
The launch created a space where educators, development partners, community leaders, coaches, and students came together to discuss the role of basketball in creating safe and inclusive spaces for children of all abilities to learn life skills. The programme aims to ensure that every child, regardless of ability, has access to sports and life skills training.

The day’s programme unfolded through a series of interactive sessions starting with remarks from stakeholders stating their dedication to advancing inclusive sports and youth development, alongside adapted basketball drills led by Basketball Experience coaches. The student enthusiastically participated in the drills which was an amazing showcase of how the game can be suited to children of all abilities. The event flowed seamlessly, creating a conducive space for learning and engagement.
Admedia Communications supported the delivery of this experience by providing comprehensive event and communications support for the launch. This includes managing the on-ground set-up such as seating arrangement, media installations creating a functional yet cohesive environment for the event to take place. The team also delivered photography and videography coverage to capture key moments from the day, alongside providing press and media support to amplify the news of the launch. This ensured that not only was the event executed excellently on site but effectively documented to a wider audience. We have continually supported Basketball Experience since it started in 2024 working closely with the programme’s partner to deliver impactful engagement since its rollout. Our ongoing collaboration reflects our commitment to delivering not just well-executed events, but meaningful experiences that contribute to lasting social impact.
