Admedia Covers Historic NBA-Africa Media Conference

Admedia Communication provided top-notch video and photography coverage at the historic NBA-Africa media conference held in Nairobi on Tuesday, 8 October 2024.

The onboarding of Admedia Communication to provide the event’s coverage cements the growing partnership and the trust that the NBA-Africa has vested in Admedia as a strategic end-to-end partner in communications, event management, compelling campaigns, and digital media initiatives.

The event marked the announcement of a collaboration between NBA-Africa and Opportunity International to build outdoor basketball courts and conduct youth clinics in Kigali, Rwanda, and Nairobi, Kenya. The collaboration will support NBA-Africa in building 1000 courts in Africa including 100 in Kenya.

This engagement adds to the list of projects in Admedia’s portfolio of partnerships with NBA-Africa. In May this year, Admedia and NBA-Africa got into an exciting partnership to help implement the Basket Experience—another program by NBA-Africa in partnership with AGENCE FRANÇAISE DE DEVELOPPMENT that targets learners aged between eight to sixteen in Kenyan schools by engaging them with the basketball sport as well as facilitating life skills training to them. Through this partnership, Admedia Communication has handled branding, digital, media buying, and event management for the launch of the first two courts in Kasarani, Nairobi, in July 2024 for NBA-Africa. This initiative has helped in elevating the NBA-Africa’s brand in Kenya by a great deal.
