The stage for this significant collaboration was set at the ASAL ADAPTS round table event hosted on 25th July 2023, at the Jacaranda Hotel, Nairobi. ASAL ADAPTS, a program with a noble mission, aims to spotlight the issues affecting communities in Kenya’s ASAL (Arid and Semi-Arid Lands) regions and to formulate data-driven solutions. The event at the Jacaranda Hotel served as a crucial platform, bringing together stakeholders from diverse government and private sectors to discuss the pivotal role of data-driven decision-making in various domains.
Data-driven decision-making, the process of crafting choices based on meticulously gathered and analysed information from diverse sources, took centre stage during this event. Admedia Communications played a substantial role by assisting in event planning, helping Mercy Corps design the event program, and generously providing conference essentials such as bags, notebooks, pens, and water bottles.
Furthermore, Admedia lent crucial support through their expertise in videography, photography, and audio-visual production. Our contributions were instrumental in capturing and conveying the essence of the event.
