The Problem

Tata Chemicals Magadi was on the lookout for ways in which it would elevate its visibility by using branding initiatives, developing content with on brand look and feel, use of art and flair of storytelling, and inculcating employees’ engagement through the use of internal marketing efforts aimed to inform, involve and get them connected to the company’s Mission, Vision, Values, and company activities.

This was a challenging marketing mix with both internal and external marketing strategies and required an all rounded communications agency to ensure its success. And as expected, Admedia Communications Ltd rose to the challenge.

The Solution

We did a segmentation of the required deliverables which included internal communication and external communication and gathered all the marketing collaterals for each.

We have since been creating creative internal campaigns which include video content, infographics, and photography. We have also been managing, producing, and posting digital content for all Tata Chemicals Magadi social media pages, and doing all the branding work including the designing of brochures, banners etc.

Results

At the end of 2020, a year which was marred with the dangerous Covid-19 pandemic, we interviewed all the staff at Tata Chemicals Magadi about their take on the year and this created a lot of excitement within the staff with most of them thanking the company for not retrenching not even a single employee, putting measures in place to ensure a safe working environment for them, and attributing the pandemic and restrictions on movement to be a uniting factor between them and their families.

This internal communication act was a gesture that the company cared about the well-being of each of the employees and by doing so we achieved our first objective of the project.
