The Challenge
With one of its mega projects, the Graylands Phase 5, due for its groundbreaking ceremony, Admedia Communications Ltd was challenged to take up the Public Relations roles through media engagement and coming up with compelling articles that would be used to create a buzz about the project.
The other challenge was to carry out media training in matters media relations for the Purple Dot staff in preparation for the speeches and any questions that would be raised by the media on the day of the groundbreaking ceremony.
The Solution
Inspired by their previous projects including the Graylands Phase 4 and Phase 3, we were able to create a clear picture of what Graylands Phase 5 would look like. This included amenities that would be exclusive to Phase 5 that weren’t there in the previous phases. This information coupled with the history of Purple Dot International Ltd history became very valuable in coming up with the media articles that were circulated in more than 10 top media houses in Kenya before and after the event.
In addition to this, Admedia Limited Communications Ltd did the following:
- Profile photography
- Media training
- Media invitation
- Press release drafting and circulation to the media
- Media relations management
- Media monitoring
