Admedia Communications LTD was contracted to provide end-to-end project management services for the 3rd IGAD Scientific Conference on Migration and Displacement that took place in Nairobi, Kenya. The event attracted over 200 delegates from the IGAD member states, including Francophone states.
Among key services provided by the AdMedia team, were media management, garnering coverage in tier-one news outlets in Kenya and regional media channels like BBC Africa. Translation of documents (English-French), design of branding collateral (folders, banners, etc), and event execution were some of the services provided by the AdMedia team. Additionally, the production team were on hand to provide live streaming services of the event on Youtube in order to include delegates who would join the event virtually. We also incorporated the use of the Whova Platform to promote networking and knowledge-sharing among the delegates. At the end of the event, we uploaded a questionnaire on the platform to gather feedback and complaints from the delegates.
We were able to provide a well-packaged event report to the client, detailing all aspects of the event, including a live-streaming report to show the number of people who virtually joined the conference, and a Whova report to capture the interactions that were ongoing during the conference.
